VBS IS COMING THIS SUMMER!

Gear up and join us for an epic snow adventure at Prince of Peace!

DATE: Monday, June 22- Thursday, June 25

TIME: 6:00 PM - 8:15 PM

AGES: Pre-school (4-year-olds)- 6th Grade

Preview Night: Pre-school (3-year-olds): Wednesday, June 24, 6:00-7:30 PM

COST: All are welcome! Suggested donation: $15 per child. The cost covers program materials and snacks. No one will be turned away due to the inability to pay. Please contact Ginger Tomes at Prince of Peace to learn more (gtomes@popluther.org or (513)683-4244).

Pay online or mail /drop off checks made payable to Prince of Peace with your child’s name and VBS in the memo line. There is a $50 max per family.

Calling all Challengers!

We need your help to make this week a success! Volunteers are needed in all areas: crafts, snacks, recreation, group guides and more.

• Our biggest needs for VBS this year are:

  • Decorations- we love to make our event feel special by decorating our Gathering Space, hallways, and Sanctuary.

  • Guides- These volunteers are the ones that truly connect with our participants on a personal level. We separate our participants into age groups and then smaller group within each of those larger groups. Our guides are then “in charge” of each of the kids in their small group, leading them from rotation to rotation, helping with any injuries (band aids), and just connecting with them throughout the evening. 

  • Lead Guides-  This is typically an adult who is in charge of a whole particular age group. They help keep kids on track during rotations, taking kids to the bathroom as needed, helping kids find their groups at the beginning of the night, and then assisting in dismissal at the end of the night. They do NOT have a specific small group assigned to them. 

  • Recreation and Games- These volunteers help with the most active part of our night: fun games with all age groups! We are in need of a lead to help organize the games for each night.
