2026 Journey
Ordinary Saints
During Lent, we often focus on the extraordinary sacrifice of Christ. But what about us—the ordinary believers who struggle, doubt, and stumble? This five-week study explores how God calls everyday people to live extraordinary lives of faith, not through our own strength, but through God's grace working in us.
Paul's letters remind us that the early church was filled with regular people—slaves, merchants, homemakers, tentmakers—who were transformed by the gospel. As we journeythrough Lent, we'll discover that God's mission isn't reserved for the spiritual elite. It's the calling of every believer, rooted in the waters of baptism and lived out in the ordinariness of daily life.
Each week focuses on one of Paul's letters and explores both an Old Testament and New Testament character who embodies that week's theme.
At Prince of Peace, we take the season of Lent to pause and be reflective about our call to discipleship through an intentional process we call a Lenten Journey.
Starting the weekend of February 22, we begin our journey.
There are three main parts of this immersive experience:

Journey Groups
We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week at different times and across different groups throughout our community. We hope that you will find one that fits your needs and schedule. If you'd like to form a journey group to meet with others from the community (neighbors and friends are welcome too!), please let us know and we can help spread the word.
