The most anticipated night of our fall season is almost here! Transform the Prince of Peace parking lot into a wonderland of decorated trunks, amazing costumes, and happy faces. Every neighbor, every age, every family - all are invited to make memories together under the October sky.
Trophies will be awarded to trunks featuring the best decorations in the following categories: Holiest Trunk, Most Creative Trunk, and Spookiest Trunk.

Jr High students are invited to get closer with their friends and make some new ones while navigating the puzzles from The Escape Game Cincinnati! Will you do an art heist, prison break, or find lost gold? Only you can find out when you join in, Saturday, October 4, 1-4pm!

Celebrate the start of Wednesday Friendsday with Bob Ross painting time! Senior high students can bring a friend and make some new ones while we follow a tutorial and remember there are no mistakes--just happy accidents! Afterward, the paintings will be hung in the Youth Room! Snacks and supplies will be provided. 6-8pm
(all other Wednesday Friendsdays will be 7-8pm)
All 7th and 8th grade students and parents are invited to come learn about and register for POP's faith formation program for junior high!
At this luncheon, Pastor Hannah will go over what an evening of Firmly Planted looks like, talk about additional events and how parents can get involved, and have some games and time for the two grades to get to know each other.
All 7th grade students who register will get a Lutheran study bible. 8th grade students need to register as well, whether or not they participated last year. Click here to register.

Spark meets weekly from 9:45-10:25 am on Sundays. We will begin each morning in Room 136.
Spark is back this fall! This program is for all families with children that will be entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. Come and explore stories of God’s love as we grow in faith together. Spark will use music, games, discussions, and hands-on activities to ignite our faith. Following Jesus, we will let our light shine!
Sparklers: During this same time, children who are not yet in kindergarten, and are least 3 years old, will have their own class in room 313 (POP Kids hallway). Parents are invited to attend with little ones as they start this new program.
Welcome to the new school year 4th-6th grade parents and families! On the 3rd Wednesday of each month we invite all of our 4th-6th graders to come together and spend an evening full of games, bible stories, and connection with others their age. Friends are always welcome and attendance is never mandatory. Just come when you can throughout the year, no RSVP ever needed.
To welcome everyone to a new school year, we wanted to hold more of a low key connection time after the first week of school. We will meet by the POP Kids preschool entrance before beginning games and ending with Smores. In the event of rain, we will meet in the PLC Gym.
We hope to see you there and if you are unable to make it, mark your calendars for our next meeting on September 17th!

Each month, we are asking for one adult to stay and help Sheryl Melvin and Ginger Tomes with our meeting. Meetings are preplanned and led by Ginger and Sheryl, however, we are looking for an extra volunteer to help with activities and with group discussions we may have. Please sign up for one or two meetings at the link below.
Students of all ages are welcome to come forward with (or without) their backpacks during worship services to receive a special blessing for the school year.
High school youth are invited to the POP Youth Party After the Block Party! We'll clean up the party, and then have snacks and play games until 10:30!
Students graduating in 2025-2029 are invited on a weeklong trip to Birmingham, Alabama and the surrounding areas to practice being a disciple of Christ! There will be service projects, there will be faith filled moments, there will be fun!

Service projects abound this week, at PoP and in the community! 7th-12th graders and families are invited Monday through Thursday morning come to service events at Hope's Closet, around Prince of Peace, and more! We'll make PB&J sandwiches for Daily Bread, rebuild the gaga pit, and help make VBS decorations. On Friday, all participants will be invited to a fun afternoon!
Each day has a different place to serve. Signup for what days and times work for you! Adults are needed, too!
Kids and youth are invited to support the Resurrection Project this year in a special way. Each family or child can decorate a Noisy Offering bottle in the Gathering Space to fill with spare change and dollars this Easter season. We'll invite all to be a part of our Pentecost Procession on June 7-8 where these donations will be added to the Resurrection Project gifts benefiting children in Haiti and the launch of the campus ministry: Jacob's Porch Cincy.
Come serve with us! Every donation of time, talent or finances is equally important and every donation makes an incredible difference in the lives of the poorest of the poor and disaster victims. All are invited to come to Matthew 25 for an afternoon of volunteering. Sign up at this link.
Join us for a special POP456 as we head to Castle Skateland to celebrate the end of the year! We will be inviting our 3rd graders to join us and meet our current 4th-6th graders. We will have pizza and drinks around 7:00 that will be provided by Prince of Peace. Anyone joining will pay for their admission and skate rental if needed. Find out more information here.

Senior High students are invited to "escape" to summer with the final Oikos May 21! We'll be at the Escape Game Cincinnati and get Graeter's afterwards in celebration of a great year!

We will meet at POP at 6 p.m. to carpool to The Escape Game Cincinnati by 6:40. Eat dinner beforehand. Adult chaperones are needed.

The Pierstorf College Fund is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year!
The Pierstorf College Fund is a one-of-a-kind, pan-Lutheran financial aid program that offers interest-free loans to all Lutherans living in the state of Ohio who are pursuing an undergraduate degree. Registration for the Confirmation Retreat at Hopewood Pines Lutheran Memorial Camp is open! 7th and 8th graders are invited to an overnight, March 21-22nd, at camp to enjoy games, a campfire, and growing in their faith!
Registration is handled through Hopewood Pines directly. We are participating in the Spring Confirmation Retreat. Pastor Hannah is available for any questions!

The first Discipleship Tour Meeting is February 9th, 11:45 in the PLC! The Discipleship Tour is a weeklong trip for youth to learn how to be better disciples of Christ through serving the world, building community, and growing in faith! Lunch will be provided as we discuss cost and fundraisers and details about the trip. The dates for this D-Tour are July 27-August 2.

Parents and kids are invited to join us on Sunday February 9 for a morning full of summer camp songs, crafts, and information about how to register and what to expect at camp. Come with any and all questions you have about camp to learn more from one of their very own counselors (and member at POP): Ella Girard! Two longtime Hopewood campers will join Ella to help lead songs and games foe the kids - thank you Lainey Ritter and Marlo Adams!
