All rising 2nd-8th graders are encouraged to participate in MAD Camp here at POP this summer. The camp runs M-F, July 27-31, 9 am - 1 pm daily, with a performance Friday night of the musical learned during the week. This is our fifth consecutive year of this popular event at POP!

I, Robin Stevenson, will serve as the camp's Music Director, Leslie Green will be our beloved Art Director, and Becky Parsons will again be the overall Camp Director and Drama Director.

The musical this year, called In the Image, was written by Mark Burrows, a prolific composer of children's music and one of our nation's foremost proponents of children in worship. Over the years Joyful Noise has sung many of his anthems for children, and I'm happy to say I've had a number of opportunities to meet and work with him in the past. "Mr. Mark" always has a unique take on Christianity as it pertains to kids, and this musical is a good example of that.

I hope you will consider having your chorister become part of our MAD Camp family this summer. The cost of the camp is $50/camper or $75 max/family for more than one camper. There are scholarships available for those in financial need - contact Robin to inquire.
