This November, we welcome Mr. Amer Hannunah from Beit Sahour, a small town near Bethlehem in the Holy Land. Amer is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and works with the Alternative Tourism Group (ATG), an organization helping Christian families in the Bethlehem area who have lost their livelihoods due to the collapse of tourism.

Beautiful, hand-carved olivewood items—including crosses, nativities, and ornaments—will be available for purchase, with proceeds directly supporting these families.

During our Adult Education class on Sunday, November 9 at 9:45, Amer will lead a class and conversation about life for Christians in the Holy Land and the mission of supporting local artisans.
