Prince of Peace Endowment Fund
The Prince of Peace Endowment Fund was established in 2018 to create perpetual funding for ministry projects beyond the normal scope of our annual budget. The fund grows from the generosity of individuals that include Prince of Peace in their estate planning.
The Endowment Fund provides grants to organizations, nominated by congregation members, each year based upon the earned income from the Fund. This year we anticipate distributing up to $2,000 from the Fund. Please use the form found in the form button below to apply for funding for your organization. The application period is now closed for 2023 funds.

Prince of Peace created an endowment fund to help spread our mission: to live and love like Jesus. As the endowment grows over time, valued monetary gains become available as part of our outreach to love and serve our neighbors and the world. Not only do these outreach relationships serve as the water to stimulate growth, so does the increase in the fund’s investment capital. Endowments work like this:
Endowments start with contributions to create a base principal that then grows through investing over time.
It is from the principal’s growth that endowment grants are funded and dispersed to chosen organizations or individuals throughout the world.
The Funding Process
Annual Grants and Principal Fund Donations
The process to select organizations or individuals for a grant from the Prince of Peace Endowment Fund starts with members of the congregation; an idea or a connection that you believe fits within the Prince of Peace missional principles and can grow our mission as the hands and feet of God.
Once a year, the Endowment Committee will review applications submitted by the congregation to select the grant recipients for the coming year.
The application forms are located at the Welcome Desk in the church or from the link below. The form requests details about the amount requested and how it will be used. The maximum reward to be issued, in total for the year, is $2,000. The application period is now closed.
Soon after the deadline, the committee will meet to evaluate all applications. They may select one or multiple recipients, but not to exceed $2,000 in total. The committee’s recommendation will then be taken to the Prince of Peace Strategic board for approval.
We look forward to the day when the Prince of Peace Endowment Fund provides even more grants, which requires more donations to the principal endowment fund. These added donations are one-time or annual amounts over and above the weekly or monthly donations to the General Fund.
