Rummage Sale Info
Before the Sale
Each participant or family member must serve 5 hours during the week BEFORE the sale (April 24-28)– students can volunteer any time until 8:00pm during the week. We especially need people to serve Wednesday and Thursday evenings, but whenever you can get here, we’ll put you to work! You do not have to commit to certain times during the week, we just need you there when you can be. If you cannot serve at all during the week, you may do an additional weekend shift.
Many of those hours can be acquired at Large Item Pick-Up Day and Group Sort Day on SUNDAY, April 24 in the PLC immediately following the 10:30 AM service. Pizza will be provided. We need strong lifters and good organizers.
During the Sale
Each student and one parent will need to work one full shift during the actual rummage sale. These spots are first-come, first- served so if your schedule is restrictive, sign up early! We need more people on Saturday afternoon than any other time.
1. Friday, April 29 -5:20-8:20 pm.
2. Saturday, April 30—Morning 7:45am-11:45 am
3. Saturday, April 30— afternoon 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM
or
*** 1:30 PM - end of clean up (usually about 1.5 hours)*** we need the most help here!
You must be present for the entire shift!
Rummage Sale Cafe
Each family should provide 1 item for our Rummage Sale Café
Start with the youngest—one item for your whole family:
12-pack of soda or water (families with at least one 8th or 9th grader)
individually wrapped baked goods (families with at least one 10th or 11th grader)
chips, or packaged snacks for the Café (families with at least one 12th grader)
Please bring these items by Friday, April 29 in the PLC Kitchen.
Parent Help
Parent participation and help sorting during the week also helps ensure a smooth sale! Parents are needed to help with Large Item Pick Up (students may not drive other students) and throughout the week. We need more people Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Fill out the form below so that you can share your roommate, car buddy, and service preferences.
This form should be filled out by May 1.
Cana Feast Specific Info
Families decide on an item or basket to donate to the Cana Feast. Feel free to go together on a larger basket item.
For a list of ideas, click here.
Notify us by your donations ASAP and bring physical items to POP by February 1 (if possible).
Students are asked to donate a service to the auction. Consider doing one from the list or put your idea for service on the list. There are limited slots for certain types available.
Help the Cana Feast Succeed by inviting businesses and services you use or frequent to contribute!
