We all follow and we all lead. This is the life of discipleship into which Jesus invited his followers . Here at Prince of Peace we believe that everyone is simultaneously a follower of Jesus and a leader within the Kingdom of God.

Below are just a few of the strong and passionate leaders God has called to serve through Prince of Peace.


Lead Pastor

Pastor Jonathan graduated from Wittenberg University with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, where he now serves as Chairman of the board. He received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He served as Pastor of St. Peter in Wooster and Associate Pastor at Christ The Redeemer in Brecksville. He began his ministry with us in 2006. He and his wife Suzanne have three children.

While serving in Iraq Lorne’s heart was captured by the gospel and set him on a path of service to God. Pastor Lorne gradated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science. He received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary with a concentration on leadership. Lorne also serves as the Chair of The Haitian Timoun Foundation. He and his wife Becca have two children.

Director of Youth & Family Mission

Relationships Matter to Mary Ellen. As Director of Youth and Family Mission one of her main joys is strengthening students relationships with adults who care about them, other students, and our God who overflows with love for them. Mary Ellen’s family joined Prince of Peace in 1997 and since then, she enjoyed growing up here, completing catechism, volunteering at VBS, and spending weekends with the youth group. She has a B.A. in Theology from Xavier University.

Kids Ministry Coordinator

Ginger is the mother to 4 beautiful, kind-hearted kids, and a wife to a wonderful man (Michael). Ginger earned her B.S. in Psychology at the University of Evansville in Indiana, and later earned a Masters of Education in School Counseling from the SUNY school at the University of Buffalo.
Ginger works with our children that are 6th grade and under and helps them grow in God's love and faith. She is passionate about connecting families together as they raise their kids in faith.

Director of Ministries

Karen has been a member of Prince of Peace since 2003, when she and her husband Steve moved here from Wisconsin. She is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Industrial Engineering. After a long career at Procter & Gamble, she became Director of Ministry. Karen also teaches Zumba Fitness classes each week here at church. She and her husband have three children.

Director of Music

Toby attended Oral Roberts University with a degree in Trumpet Performance. He moved to Cincinnati to attend UC’s College Conservatory of Music pursuing a Masters of Music. Toby teaches private trumpet students, runs a desktop music publishing business, and plays drums for “Planet Groove” and the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. He also teaches the History of Rock at The College of Mt. St. Joseph. He and his wife Treva have three children.

Adult Choir Director

Deb and husband, Dave Bowers, joined Prince of Peace in 1998. She conducts the Adult Choir and researches music for hymn selection. She began her career as a Christian Education Coordinator in a Lutheran church and has been a member of the May Festival Chorus for over 20 years. Deb volunteers her time to do liturgical art for worship. She enjoys gardening, reading, making jewelry, and playing with her three dogs.

Business Manager

Sue, and her husband Tom and their daughter, Stephanie have been members of Prince of Peace since 1997. Originally from St. Louis, they have lived in six states. Sue loves working with people and has volunteered in a wide range of organization in Loveland. She has an MBA which helps her as Business Manager to organize and operate the church’s facilities in an effective and efficient manner.

Children’s Choir Director

Robin joined POP in 1997 and joined the staff in 1999. Her responsibilities include Cherub Choir, Joyful Noise, YouthFest Singers, Cheerful Chimes, Teentinnabulation and Bells of Grace. She is a member of Bells of Peace and the Adult Choir and serves as a cantor, altar care, VBS music, music for MOPS and as Music Specialist for POP Kids School. Robin teaches after-school Latin Clubs in Mason and Loveland. She shares her passion for the subject with her daughter, Tori.

Parish Administrator

Jo Ellen and her husband, Micah have been members of Prince of Peace since 2009. They have two children, Riley and Sarah. As a member of the church, Jo Ellen volunteers for altar care, youth events, and ushers.

Accounting & HR Assistant

Kathy has been a member of Prince of Peace since 2004. Her career spans over 25 years in service as a secretarial/administrative assistant. She is married to Bernie and has three children, Missy, Becky and Kevin and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Adam. Kathy attended Thomas More College, working on a degree in Computer Science. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys playing golf, hiking and traveling to national parks.

Graphics & Publication Designer

Suzanne uses her creative talents to design publications, both print and digital, for Prince of Peace. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she obtained a degree in education. She and her family moved to Loveland when her husband, Pastor Jonathan, accepted a call to be lead Pastor at Prince of Peace. Suzanne is also a teacher at POP Kids School. She and Pastor Jonathan have three children.

POP Kids School Administrator

Angie has been a member of Prince of Peace since 1999, is a graduate of The Ohio State University, and owned her own business until the preschool became a greater passion. As the needs of the school changed and expanded, Angie stepped into the overall management of the school. She considers it a gift to help create an environment where the children and families feel the unconditional love of Jesus while finding the joy of learning.
