Rev. Jonathan Eilert, Lead Pastor
Pastor Jonathan Eilert graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology. He received his Master of Divinity Degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. He first served as Pastor at St. Peter in Wooster, Ohio, and then as the Associate Pastor at Christ the Redeemer in Brocksville, Ohio. He began his ministry here at Prince of Peace in March 2006. He and his wife Suzanne have three children and reside in the Loveland area.

Rev. Grant Eckhart, Pastor
Pastor Grant has served in a variety of cultural contexts from an urban ministry in Oakland, CA, to a rural congregation in the middle of nowhere, and since 2007 a suburban ministry here in Loveland, Ohio. His ministry is centered on Discipleship, Formation, reaching beyond the walls of the church building and preaching. He is married to Tammy Eckhart, a Team Leader for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. He enjoys days off spent with her, funk music as he has played the bass guitar for nearly his whole life and Buckeye football (B.S. The Ohio State University, M.Div. Trinity Lutheran Seminary). Rev. Ken Soderlund, Director of Senior Ministries
Pastor Ken attended Augustana College and Seminary, obtaining a B.A. in Choral Music and a Master of Divinity degree. He holds a Masters degree in counseling from Western Illinois University and a Doctorate degree in Ministry from The Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. Over his career, Pastor Ken has served in numerous parishes throughout the Midwest. Pastor Ken and his wife Melva enjoy being near their daughter Jennifer and her family here in the greater Cincinnati area and during his "down time," Pastor Ken enjoys his antique car (1935 Chrysler Airflow) and golf.

Marsha Bozman, Parish Secretary
Marsha is a native of Milford, Ohio and brings over 35 years of office experience to her position at Prince of Peace. She is a member at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Milford, Ohio, where she serves on the stewardship committee and is a catechist and small group facilitator on their R.C.I.A. team. She is married to Ross, her husband of 23 years and they have three grown children and two grandchildren. Her hobbies include piano, crafts, reading and board games. “I like meeting and talking with the members here at Prince of Peace – this is a very warm and loving, faith filled congregation. It is my home away from home,” says Marsha.

Mary Ellen Helms, Director of Youth & Family Mission
Relationships matter to Mary Ellen. As Director of Youth and Family Mission, one of her main joys is strengthening students’ relationships with adults who care about them, other students, and our God who overflows with love for them. Mary Ellen’s family joined Prince of Peace in 1997 and since then, she enjoyed growing up here, completing Catechism, volunteering at VBS and spending weekends with youth group. She has her B.A. in Theology from Xavier University. On Sundays, you’ll find Mary Ellen in the Sunday School hallways, spending time with the Senior High youth, volunteering during Children’s worship and directing our Catechism program for 7th and 8th grade students.

Toby Lyke, Director of Music
Toby grew up in the Fort Lauderdale area of South Florida, and then attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance. He then moved to the Cincinnati area to attend the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati with a Masters of Music degree pending. When not working at Prince of Peace, Toby maintains a studio of a dozen private trumpet students, runs a desktop music publishing business out of his home and plays with several groups playing drums for “Planet Groove,” as well as the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Toby also teaches The History of Rock at the College of Mt. St. Joseph and sings as a professional chorister with various local ensembles.

Sue Mcllovy, Business Manager
Sue, her husband Tom, and their daughter, Stephanie, have been members of Prince of Peace since 1997. Originally from St. Louis, they have lived in six states. Sue loves working with people and has volunteered in a wide range of organizations in Loveland. She has an MBA which helps her as business manager to organize and to operate the church’s facilities in an effective and efficient manner. “Prince of Peace has continued to be a welcoming and comforting environment since the first Sunday we came to visit. It is exciting to be a part of such a rich and growing community,” says Sue.

Kathy Shucktis, Accounting and Human Resources Assistant
Kathy has been a member of Prince of Peace since 2004 and a resident of Loveland for 12 years. Kathy's career spans over 25 years in service as a secretarial/administrative assistant. She is married to Bernie and has three children, Missy, Becky and Kevin and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Adam. Kathy attended Thomas More College, working on a degree in Computer Science and she volunteers in many community and school events. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys playing golf, hiking and traveling to national parks.

Karen Skarda, Director of Ministry
Karen has been an active member at Prince of Peace since 2003, when she and her husband, Steve, moved here from Wisconsin, where they both grew up. As a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, you would not expect that she is a key part of our music at church. She cantors, sings in the Adult Choir, leads the Cherub Choir. In addition she now teaches ZUMBA fitness classes each week here at church. After a long career at Procter & Gamble, Karen accepted the call in 2011 to become our Director of Ministry. She is very excited about the new path God is leading her on and is thrilled to be able to support the numerous ministries at POP. She and her husband have three children.
