Auction

When will the silent auction open and close?

The Silent Auction is 100% online! This technology allows us to invite more people from our community to participate and helps the organizers with payment processes. It will open on Sunday, October 29 at 12:30 pm and close on Sunday, November 5 at 12:30 pm. At the live event, students will be available to help you bid on items if you need assistance.

The Live Auction will begin at the event after lunch (by 12:30 pm).

Can I bid in person at the event?

All silent auctions will be online bidding only, but we will have students available to help you with that process if you need assistance with the online bidding.

What payment methods will you accept?

The silent auction will be only online through 32 Auctions Software: they will accept credit cards or Paypal.

In-person live auction bids and games items will accept cash, checks (payable to Prince of Peace with “Cana Feast” in the memo line), and credit card payments.

If I win an online bid, can I still pay in person with a check or cash?

All online bids will be paid through the online system accepting credit cards or Paypal.

How will I know if I won an item?

Our auction software, 32 auctions, will send notifications both when you have been outbid or when you win an item.

If I can't attend the event, can I still bid on an item?

Yes! Friends and family can also bid on the auction. All wins should be picked up from Prince of Peace after the auction or delivered by a Prince of Peace trip participant. Arrangements should be made from the purchaser with their connection.

If I can’t be at the event, when can I pick up my basket?

Auction baskets can be picked up Sunday at the auction or Wednesday, November 8 from 7:00-8:00 pm at Prince of Peace.

 

Meal

What is the menu?

The meal will cost $20 per adult and $10 per child, the meal will be prepared in a buffet setting with the options of:

Herb-Roasted Chicken

Roasted vegetables

Mashed Redskin Potatoes

Orzo Salad

Dinner rolls

Dessert

What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

There will be indicators on each food item in the buffet (such as: Gluten Free, Diary Free, etc.)

Dine-in or carryout?

If you would like to take your meal home with you, there will be to-go boxes available at 11:30 AM on Sunday in the Parish Life Center.
